Healthy Places to Eat in Canggu, Bali

One of my favourite activities is finding great, healthy food whenever I go travelling. And Bali is home to incredible, fresh and healthy food. So it was easy to find lots of great places to eat in Canggu, Bali!

Here are my all-time favourite healthy places to eat in Canggu, Bali.

1. Superfood Health Bar

First stop when I arrived in Canggu was the Superfood Health Bar. This is one of my favourite places to eat in Canggu.

The decor here is amazing! Full of greenery and shelves lined with fresh ingredients. Lots of comfy seating, soft wooden accents, and trees everywhere. It feels really fresh and natural.

There is seating undercover for when it rains in Bali. In the wet season, it can rain really hard! And some basket chairs and tables outside.

I nabbed a table outside in the sun. The Superfood Health Bar has a comfortable, homely feeling with lots of fresh ingredients on display.

Their main offering is smoothie bowls and juices/smoothies, all made from fresh, local ingredients and made to order. But they also have a great range of cakes if, like me, you have a sweet tooth!

Everything is beautifully presented in vibrant colours. I went for the Blue Spirulina Bliss Smoothie Bowl which was incredible.

Not only will your body be grateful for the nutrition, but makes a great Instagram shot too!

Located away from the main street, this place is nice and quiet. Perfect place to hang out and read a good book with lots of healthy food. Plenty of vegan options too.

2. Beach Garden - Organic Kitchen

Next on my list of the best places to eat in Canggu is Beach Garden - Organic Kitchen.

Situated on the main street, this is a really beautiful, chilled restaurant. Full of plants with an indoor/outdoor feel. 

With loads of comfortable seating to choose from. And lots of healthy options no matter your diet. The Beach Garden is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I went for breakfast and opted for the porridge and vegan hot chocolate. Made with homemade coconut milk and cinnamon. It was amazing! 

A great place to hang out with friends. Or work on your business.

3. Avocado Factory

Onto my all-time favourite brunch spot in Canggu. This is the ultimate of the places to eat in Canggu for all avocado lovers!

As an avocado junkie, I was both astounded and excited to find a place dedicated solely to this creamy delight.

The Avocado Factory specialises in all dishes avocado. From the humble Eggs Benedict with truffle mushrooms, which was just as delicious as it looks! To Avocado Pancakes, Burgers, and Smoothies.

There is limited seating so get here early to avoid disappointment. Also, as the name suggests, this cafe only serves breakfast and brunch.

The perfect morning treat after an early morning yoga class or surf session.

4. Fishbone Local

As you approach the evening, head to Fishbone Local for the best fish tacos in Bali!

This was one of the best places to eat in Canggu, recommended by my traveller friend I met in India. He is from San Diego, so he knows his tacos! 

Located just off the beach, this is a great spot for dinner with lots of seating inside, and out in the garden. 

As recommended by my friend, I went for the Fish Tacos with a Kombucha which was the best fish I have had in a long time. They also have a large range of cocktails, if you are looking for something stronger!

Fishbone Local work with local fishermen, supporting their community and livelihood. And only partner with sustainable seafood providers to minimise the ecological impact on our oceans.

Plus the fish tastes really fresh and of superb quality!

5. The Lawn

My last recommendation for the best places to eat in Canggu. Finishing the night at The Lawn Beach Lounge. This is more of a beach bar, with amazing cocktails but also does great food.

Get here for sunset, the views across the beach are epic!

You can pay extra for a comfy lounger on the beach. There is a minimum spend for these coveted spots so perfect if you are in a larger group. There were just two of us, so we opted for the relaxed armchairs on the deck. 

The cocktails were 2 for 1 so we opted for the Coconut Bay Breeze.

It was delicious albeit quite strong!

Perhaps because I had not drunk alcohol in a while. Having spent the past few weeks detoxing in Ubud with lots of early morning yoga classes.

The desserts here look epic too! Check out the Dark Chocolate Tart for an indulgent nightcap.
